If you mean you have a saloon, and want a convertible, then not really, unless you can find a Tristan conversion.
Or find a Convertible rear tub, much easier said than done.

I've now got to find a way to dispose of 8 gal of fuel. I'll have a word with local garage.

Got to Be worth seeing if it does separate out.

At least with car insurance the companies are no longer allowed to charge existing customers more than if they had been new customers.
I assume all tha,t means is that they now charge new customers the same higher rate as existing customers rather than offering the lower rate to the existing ones.

Probably last a lifetime, which may not be that long on those tyres.😁
You are probably right there
they do a very good job keeping the car up off the floor.
And I can keep them pumped up really hard.

24- year old tyres, Pah! They are but mere youngsters. I have 2 ( yes 2) sets of 40 year old Pirelli P6 tyres, loads of tread left on them, gone rock hard so they are going to last forever.

Has it had a Trackerjack brake upgrade?
You may soil a few sets if something hasn't been done.

I would try ringing Pete Barrett at Cherished on Monday, they are part of the A-line family, and have a CT policy.
I got put off Peter James when they told me even though the premium was correct, ERS felt it didn't truly reflect the risk and doubled it.

That's a lot of hotels! Has the 10CR gone soft?
Very soft!

I wonder if no liner and religious cleaning of the mud traps would be better?
We now know where the rot starts, they didn't when launched.
I know they tried little covers, but don't they just trap the mud as badly?
And you have to make the effort to remove the coversto clean behind them.
perhaps glueing in a liner so there isn't no way anything can get past it might work?

There is most likely only 1 person who was driving it, well me of the 2, so It is probably worth getting hold of a copy of Dereks book.
Mine is packed away whilst we are decorating so I can't have a look at the moment.

Are you going to give us a clue where you struggled?
🙂

The age of Mk3 Spitfire means that they do not actually need the latch to prevent tilting. Get MoT man to look in his book.
But it is good if they do latch.

Were we not in the middle of a lockdown last mid-summers day? May be why there was little Police interest, lot less money to be earned.
I was told they recorded the registrations at Lands end and again at Ness Point, knowing that it isn't not possible to do the trip in the time allowed.

Where abouts in the country are you Adrian?

The 075 also fits,
and a couple of other are a good fit.
Can have a look at the ones I have.
Biggest issue is getting correct clamp, and making sure it doesn't hit the alternator after fitting.

1970 Mini Clubman in Orange. Had a permanent lean to starboard due to leaky suspension.
Replaced with a 1978 Clubman Estate when I went to Poly as it more up to the journey each day.

Stinger over here, hollow spikes so the tyres deflate in a controlled manner.

You do need longer studs for the long arm pump.
-
Mostly rally specialists I would suspect, longer studs regularly needed on Escorts etc. And they tend to have the imperial ones same as big saloons

Sounds like you need to drive with your foot hard tow the floor a lot more!

When I started driving petrol was £1.10 a gallon, which factoring in inflation is £3.54 now
but it is about £7.50, so more than twice the price.
Someone is making a bit of profit somewhere.

Is I think a replacement fuel pump or an electric one?
could be over pressure causing flooding

That one in St Helens is cheap.
There was also a very nice one go through the auctions at Kings Lynn at the weekend, not sure if it sold.

I have to say that you haven't picked the most ideal car for the job, sorry 😞
Either get a bag of spare input shafts, they fail very easily, just look how small they are, or change the gearbox and diff to a 1500fwd setup.
Actually the 1500 setup will give you a better diff ratio, as that is the second major issue with tye 1300fwd, it is chronically under-geared.
Not many options to fit different wheels if so desired, and raising ride height will mess up geometry quite badly.
I also seem to remember the CV joints and front wheel bearings don't seem to last very well, might be wrong on that mind.
Plus points, they are very comfortable. I have done a RBRR in one.

I wonder if it is the bio-digestible covers that the GPO don’t like?
Perhaps they jam the machines, or the address can’t be read as easily.
Mine made it to North Essex on the 25th.
