  1. Ooh I like the look of those too. Look forward to some pics of them fitted. 👍
  2. Hello Darren. That annoying tappet type noise isn’t the servo valve is it? It was on my car, and I was convinced it was a top end tappet or timing chain rattle! Just a thought and maybe you’ve checked already? But if not pop it out and give it a shake. You’ll soon hear if it’s the culprit. New valve and seal from Moss, as below, is a cheap fix.
  3. In my defence the steering wheel looks good too? It’s a lovely thing, just not for me. I’ve gone back to original for now.
  4. Hello all I have a Momo Prototipo Heritage Steering Wheel for sale. Genuine Momo heritage with the distressed leather and old style horn button. Lovely thing that’s only a few months old. Like new condition. £160 posted to your door mainland Uk. Also have a Springalex steering wheel boss which fits a post 74 Dolly / Stag and other Triumphs. 6x70 pcd it does work with the Momo but the horn button needs a bit of packing around it to make it fit snug. Will work with Momo, Sparco, and OMP steering wheels. £30 posted to your door mainland UK. Items are in Maidstone if you’d rather collect. Cheers, Bish.
  5. I use both https://forum.retro-rides.org/  https://forum.triumphdolomite.co.uk/index.php The forums work well on my pc, tablet or phone. I guess they are old style in format but they work for me. I don’t come here much because it just all feels a bit odd and unwelcoming. I don’t know a thing about IT so I take my hat off to you all who make this happen for the club. I’d say           1: Keep it simple to use - simple search function & easy to upload photos.                       2: Make it full screen width.                       3: Make as fast as you can afford to. I don’t do Facebook and enjoy forums because I have always found them to be friendlier environments - this one included. I look forward to having a user friendly forum back here and thanks to everyone who is putting in the effort to make it happen. 👍🏻

    Original seatbelts

What you need is an old office chair or similar. They have some flattish concertina plastic which covers the back support. This stuff is easy to cut down and slips over the belt making it rigid but also bendable to suit. It puts your belt buckles exactly where you want them, and doesn't cost much, if anything at all. I have done this on a couple of beetles in the past, but can't find a picture unfortunately, so I hope that makes sense!? http://chairsforoffices.com/image/data/Henty/Henty%20set.jpg Cheers, Bish.
  7. Hi Steve D type, column switch, and extra loom/harness. Ta.
  8. Hello good people 🙂 The clutch has gone on my Vitesse, just as I was starting to get to know the old girl! In the 7 months that I have owned the car I have been building a stash of parts for an overdrive conversion, which was to be my winter project. But now it looks like that's a summer project, I'm going to crack on with it starting this weekend. I reckon I've got all the parts needed, and armed with a workshop manual, I'm confident of success. The only part that's troubling me a little is the wiring side of things. I have a new loom and relay so it can't be that hard, but does anyone have any pictures or info on the wiring and siting of the relay. Does it go on the bulkhead under the bonnet? Or under the dash somewhere? Any help, advice, experience appreciated. Cheers, Ade.
