Hi all ,I’ve been working on the bulkhead of my 13/60 today and just discovered an ally plate attached to the bulkhead with this stamped on it can someone tell me what it refers too? 5095 RET.

I’ve just spent this afternoon replacing the wind screen surround and the panels on the bulkhead that the clutch and brake master cylinders sit and I could not believe the amount of dusty Sandy rusty stuff that had accumulated behind the panels and inside the frame enough to fill two buckets!No wonder it weighed a ton!on the bright side it’s all clear all welded and the plants can enjoy the extra iron.

Hi all, The chassis number plate was missing when I stripped the 13/60 down to the bare bones!Where can I obtain one from and are they embossed I’ve never seen one!and where exactly do I fit it back on. Many thanks Adrian

Hi All,Before you lock me up and throw away the keys! The original rear tub on my convertible is beyond restoration but I have a reasonable saloon rear tub,apart from replacing the deck and bracing which I have is there anything else I should consider and where should I ideally cut the panels.

The BEST tool I have in my man cave is the four foot long 1inch box tube a tool amongst tools which slips over most of my spanner’s and sockets and makes it a breeze to shift them stubborn rusted nuts and bolts!

Hi All, I was wondering what colour Heralds were that had white soft tops the 13/60 I’m working on originally had a black one on a white body! I have acquired a white hood so I can confuse my mates when the car finally leaves the garage !

Hi all hope you are all staying safe! Please can someone advise me on the best gage of steel plate to use for repair plates on the lower half half of the front bulkhead.specifically where the bulkhead joins the floor panels many thanks.

Hi all,Before I have the joys of replacing the rear and front tubs back onto the chassis do I take advantage of this moment when the chassis is clear and replace the fuel and brake pipes that run front to rear or should I wait till those lumps are in place! Just bare in mind when you answer that I am severely sight impaired so are looking for the most practical solution many thanks.

Hi all, As some off you are aware I’m restoring a 13/60 that had been trying to hide in the undergrowth in someone’s garden for the past 25 years!so I as it’s getting cold and I’m hiding in my shed as I have spent to much! Can any tell me why when I put my registration in searches my car doesn’t exist!

I love it! My brother in law has a mixer and I have some neighbours that need some pay back so nuts and bolts ready! I will satart about 2:30am tonight put your ear plugs in everyone!

Hi all,simple question what is the best product for for the removal of rust from within the fuel tank? I do have some slow burn fuse and quick match as I’m a pyromaniac! But I do wish to preserve the tank!so I won’t use that.
