  1. This what I came up with. It is important that there be a radius on the inner diameter of the spacer that goes against the cv joint. JIm
  2. I found that when I replaced the bushing, it was easier if you loosened, but not removed the bolts holding the rotoflex coupling on. this way the vertical link could move in and out a little. Jim
  3. If it is a GT6 Mk3. The hose is a Gates #24711. It must be cut to size as is a little long, but has the correct angle bend.

  5. I seem to have created a new thread! Jim
  6. It already is terminal. Needle bearings come from the countershaft. Do not use!! Jim
  7. Most of us have obtained our cars as the second third or fourth owner.  P.M. was probably not high on the P.O.'s list.I was the third owner when I got my 72 GT6 in 1977 and basically rescued the car from the second owner. When you install the new vertical links, I am sure you will keep them "properly" lubed. I don't think corrosion will be a problem going forward. Jim
  8. This is the one from Griffin Radiator in So. Carolina Direct replacement. Just tell them you need the 1/2"bsp bung on top. Jim

  10. From fuel tank to fuel pump was 5/16"(8mm) OD metal line. From pump to carbs was 1/4" (6mm) metal line in two pieces. One from pump around outside of distributor to behind coil around front of block under waterpump as Bill Hopper said, the second was a brazed affair that connected the two carbs to the first line. There are only three 1/4" ID rubbber hoses  about 2" long each. Jim
  11. JUst looked at my 1972 GT6 and it has the rounded look on both sides. US spec however. Jim
