Delivered the Dolly back to its owner yesterday evening.
Then got Fox out.
Wanted to restart after these pics... nope.. flat battery.
Jumpstart from another battery (that i just bought for a co-workers Stag) and off she went.Testdrive and fuel.. all ok, exept.. coolant dripping.
into the footwell.I did have problems with some hose clamps previous testdrive.
Re-checked from the heater valve to the heater.. hose clamp was shit..
Time to buy decent clamps and to get rid of the crap ones.Left Fox on my drive outside last night, so battery could charge up a bit.
This morning no problemo 😄

Time to paint the rear trim and outer door handles satin black.
But first primer ..
This evening a quick sand and paint.
Door glass adjustment on the right side is pretty good.
Left side has been always iffy.
Checked clearance between windscreen frame to body.
Both the same.
Maybe glass sits higher in the track?
Will have to measure that this evening.
Saturday the Dolly Sprint is going back to his owner 😞
Did drive it around 1500kms in the past week.

That's a serious amount of work in a short space of time. 👍
It helps that I took it apart several times 😅

That's a nightmare! Fortunately on your first coat. Pain, as its going to hold you up.
I resprayed a Vitesse bonnet in a gazebo, decent weather, left it in there over night to dry, no rain forecast. Checked on it in the morning, bright sunny day, as the sun warmed up the gazeebo, condinsation built up inside and dripped all over the cellulose paint finish ruining it. You should be fine if your using 2K.
Company wanted the paint back.. still not heard from them.
I got fed up and got paint locally.
Showed them the old paint and pics.. they where shocked.
Have me a discount because of it to.
