i run 165,65,13, has set my speedo out 10mph

never seen a pistone with out a circlip,and the conrod spins on the pin thats why it got a brass bush in conrod, do not place in engine with out a circlip to hold gudgeon pin in place

looks like the quater light needs moveing going by the top off doorskin, the q light looks like its on an angle, back end tilted up u should not need that amount of washers ,i would start againe ,but it is hard to tell from photos

cut a slot in the washer so you can push them in without taking the boult out all the time, if you use more than one washer turn them so the slot is in a diffrent place .

no need remove bonnet, in from the side,engine and box will come out,if you have a good hoist, :)

remove passenger seat,unless its left hand drive

if its that canleys large bore straight through exhaust its very loud done my head after 50 miles i got to a point where it was comeing off and up for sale,but i managed to win a spittfire stainless steel middle 3" round center and a 4branch on ebay made a masive diffrence to the note, canleys after market ss big bore need lot of modifying to fit the herald.

if you have a spark stick some petrol down spark plugs and turn it over see what happens

cyril is ill,as stated you will need good welding skills to fix cyrill,if you cant weld it will be cheeper to get a new bulkhead keep looking on ebay, you will fined a lot more rot on cyril as you go,have you taken back seats and carpet out to have a look at the rest , good luck with makeing cyril better,lots of help on here for when you come stuck

thanks for the help .thay are the same size shafts, so no need to buy 2 new driveshaft flanges,

HI,im going to change my diff in my herald to a spit 1500 one , i know i need to change the prop flange back to the bigger one as i have a vitesse one fitted as i have od box, but my drive shafts are herald, the 1500 output shafts on the diff are bigger, i have taken the 1500 diff ones out and i am wondering if the herald ones will fit in the 1500 diff,herald diff still on car dont wont to take it off and render my pit and garage out of use for a week till i get parts,hope some one can help then i can do the job tomorrow, thanks darr
