  1. Hi, Great work Ferny, must have a closer look if I see you driving round Sundon Park. Took a picture of a Sprint engine in a Spitfire a few years ago at Retro Show up The Pod - I see a lot of K series engines fitted to Midgets, anyone fitted one of these, light and readily available plus a turbo version available ???   5. Hi, I am putting a single rail overdrive gearbox into my early TR7, this conversion was carried out by Coombes of Guilford 'back in the day' . Was wondering what oils you ladies and gents are running ? I hear stories of modern or alternatives oils being used or am i better sticking to EP90 Cheers John

Hi, Worked at a BL main dealer, we used the original version of this tool - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-Stag-TR7-Dolomite-head-stud-extractor-tool-/350569026165?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item519f8ad275 effectivley the two nut method Unfortunatley didnt always work  :(  Can only echoe what others have said lubricate for at two weeks constantly. welding the nuts on can work as put heat into the stud Cheers John

  9. Hi Bradley, They are over 20 years old, i brought them from a long gone shop in Luton, Performance Parts, they were origanlly gold and were on my Vermillion FHC TR7. I sprayed them myself and spent ages hand polishing the rims. Sorry couldnt be more help Cheers John
