I ended up ordering one from the tssc which I will probably sell on once we have finished with it It's only one outer sill that needs replacing so it's really just for extra security. The interior is pretty much stripped out as it needs a full retrim. Once we get started at the weekend we will start posting pictures

Agreed on the Ignition... My RX8 has the ignition system upgraded to this http://www.essexrotaryspeciali.....x-8-inc-spark-plugs/ Much better than the stock setup Another recommendation would be a Sohn adaptor, that way you can run fully synthetic oil in the engine and proper 2 stroke oil through the metering pump http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RHD-.....?hash=item2c981933de Have a nose on the RX8 owners club forum, there's some good people on there who will offer good advice on all things rotary http://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/

I'm certainly going to be watching this one then! Will you use the 192 or 231PS engine? This now raises a plethora of other questions regarding controlling the various ancillaries like the ignition, secondary shutter Valve and oil metering pump. I had this discussion with Aston from Essex Rotary over a tasty beverage last month and we concluded that the earlier 12B or the Fuel injected 13B from the N/A RX7 FC would be easier to wire up. As you can probably guess from my signature rotaries are a big interest of mine.

I noticed in you other thread about fitting the RX8 rear subframe etc to the GT6 so I have some questions How will you overcome the few inches of track as the RX8 is wider? Will you use the RX8 6Spd Gearbox as well? The reason I ask is that we are planning to put a rotary (N/A 12B from a S1 RX7) in our next spitfire project
