Neilriser Posted May 14 Share Posted May 14 Hi,stripped doors and quarter light frames and primed [whole car will later be sent for full respray] doors and frames are completely empty ie no catches no rubbers etc i know installing frames into door is tight and could damage paintwork,im trying to work out order of things? when triumph built there cars were q/lights /rubbers/catches in the doors and then the car sprayed? were q/lights sprayed before being in situ etc etc ive taken off catches on an old spare q/light and removed the stainless steel catch plate and this is sprayed behind it which makes me think q/lights were spayed before attaching catches? but that doesnt add up when rubbers need fitting after, chicken and egg come to mind,how did the factory do it please?
