Given all entrants will be in their Triumphs on Drive It Day, perhaps you could support this great idea. The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs introduced Drive It Day in 2005 as an opportunity for drivers of classics to celebrate the 1000 Mile Trial run in 1900 to prove the viability of the newly created motor vehicle. DID has now become a high profile annual event, giving us an ideal opportunity to raise awareness and support for historic vehicles amongst the general public. In 2021 the Federation chose to raise funds for the NSPCC's Childline charity as an integral part of DID activities. This association continues, with Childline having become the Federation's official charity partner. Over £87K has been raised for Childline so far from the past two years' DID activities. Club Triumph has of course a proud record of having supported many worthy charities since 1990 through the Round Britain Reliability Run. Please consider purchasing a plaque from the NSPCC (see attached) to display on your car throughout the HCR. These are available for £10 (Regular) or £30 (Platinum) and all proceeds go to Childline. I have an entry on the list but it's stuck at in_payment and has been for 30 minutes. I've rung my bank, they can see the money being requested and approved all ok so I'd like to know if there is a problem. Not sure if to try again or what to do???

I’ve just tried the new site and my logon doesn’t work, not feeling very confident at this stage.

What is the correct battery for this model? I've been informed it is a "72" but having bought one it appears way too big to fit the bracket that goes over the battery although who knows if that was the right bracket?

Our car (2500TC) arrived home today after a bit of chasing of Hagerty. Unfortunately it appears the brakes have been crippled in the process and some bodywaork damage has appeared  that wasn't there when we left it. At least its home!

Sorry Martin, ours was the last car on it (apparently it had been sharing the trailer with a Jag and a Citroen). Thanks for the clues.

So our 2500TC auto has finally arrived home this lunchtime on a transporter after retiring on the last day of the 10CR in France with an intermittent fuel or spark problem. Anyway as we backed it off the transporter we found it now has no brakes although they were fine when we left it. Brake pedal just goes to the floor with virtually no resistance really. Know nothing about brakes so not sure where to start?

We got within 200 miles of Rolduc on Sunday early evening before finally admitting defeat with an intermittent problem of losing power dramatically. After one particularly hairy moment stopped on the crawler lane of a French motorway we decided it was safer for everyone if we stuck to the non motorway roads but even that killed us eventually.

Anyone know the fan belt size for my 2500tc saloon mk2 1978.

I'm in the process of trying to fit Securon rear belts in my 2500TC saloon. Having pulled out the rear seats and parcel shelf I've found the threaded bolt holes. Do you bolt the belts in and put the shelf over the top or put the bolts through the shelf. There are cutouts in the shelf base but they would need enlarging to fit over the bolt heads but I'm not convinced the shelf would fit even if the cut outs were enlarged? Sorry it's probably a really noddy question but I don't want to cut through the shelf unless that's what I need to do. If someone could post a picture of theirs installed that would be great.

Newbie here with the first of no doubt many stupidly simple questions in the coming weeks and months. The drivers seat runner is lose at one end, I can see a bolt head in the front of the runner, does this just thread into the floor as I can feel a nut at the other end? It's a late 2500TC mk2 saloon.
