To address the height issue with the Mazda seats, I gave them to a local upholsterer to remove 1" from the squab foam.
I retained the original Mazda runners and cut them to fit the car.

I fitted Mazda 2.5 seats to our GT6 last year because the seat back are too low. The headrests only came up to the bottom of my neck!
The headrests on the Mazda seats almost reach the roof of the car so are much safer in an accident

The chassis and body numbers along with the commission number are listed on the heritage certificate.

See Chriss' message above about dates.
The one where he is talking about Skegness where we aren't going according to you?
I am totally confused and bemused.
All I would like to know is what date, where is it starting where is it finishing? People's calenders fill up fast with stuff. The more notice we get the better.

Darren and I have booked a weekend with a couple of west Mids group on 10/11 June, it’s been booked for months as the original date planned was the first weekend in June for the C2C and we didn’t want to miss it
You will be alright then as the C2C is listed as the first weekend in June.

Neither !
So why was Chris worrying about Skegness?!

Is Skegness the start or finish point? If its the finish, where is the start?

Fiat Coupe seats fitted to our Stag. Lower and positioned further back than the standard seats. Very comfortable as demonstrated on the recent RBRR and 10CR.

Hi Doug
We were chatting on the ferry to Calais on the Monday. I was the chap with the French Blue Stag. We were discussing water pumps amongst other things

Here`s a good one......coming from the North we will be going over the Dartford crossing, with two cars
Making a payment to DVLA for 2 cars 2 journeys......paid for one car, then filling out the detail for the second .......tried four times and it would not allow the payment....Payment decline ` Duplicate application`
now need to start again and use someone else`s debit card
So.....you cannot pay for someone else`s car, once you have paid for one by debit card
H Mike
Use the Dartford crossing between 10pm and 6am and its FREE😉

When we went inside at Carlisle, there was a touch screen " Register your car number here"... so we typed in the details and asked if that was OK as we were not staying, the receptionist said , as long as we had completed the screen details, that would be OK.
But I must admit I have been waiting for something in the post all week
Nobody mentioned that too us when we walked into the reception area and talked to you guys. BUGGER!

Can anyone recommend a good quality road atlas for the area of Europe we are heading for?
Each of our cars has a UK atlas in it as you never know when it will come in useful.
I was looking on Google maps yesterday evening at the places where will be staying overnight on the 10CR. I am happy to admit that my knowledge of the geography of that area of mainland Europe is very limited!

More likely to be a white fiver if it's your cash😆
