tr6driver Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Hmmm. I have purchased a set of rebuilt Stag calipers from a reputable supplier, but they look slightly different to what my original ones were. The originals were labelled "Lockheed", while the ones I have purchased are labelled "AP" and look somewhat heavier in construction, although the mounting holes line up and the flanges are of the same thickness. What worries me the most is that the threaded holes for the brake lines seem to be in different locations (and I'm not confusing right with left, they really are different). Anyone familiar with a caliper change during the life of the Stag? Thanks for any help you can give...
stagnut Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Hi Jamie, can't help you about the difference in the calipers, but I believe back in the mid 70's Lockheed changed their name to AP ( Automotive Products)
