It has been a while but it's back to Triumph.

Retirement is looming and what to do :classic_blush: SO trying to daily the triumphs as a new adventure.

Last month the 1300 got a new distibution chain a tensioner and a seal to get rid of a nasty rattle and the horrible oil leak (didnt work)

Today while returning from work an almighty bang under the bonnet, an investigation revealed that the dynamo pully has broken up........... so I drove the remaining few KM's home rattling and all.........   a spare one was installed quickly (metal pully)

Question, anyone else had this happen?

Took the starter gear and cover off again, still trying to find the rattle coming from somewhere out front.... no play in the crankshaft engine is running perfect at speed with good oil pressure but when on low idle a clatter from the front, and no it does it also without the waterpump and the generator attached... puzzling :classic_blush:     anyway took the vitesse 6 to a local meeting to chear me up, it starts up and runs perfect (as always)
