    I have a scrap front half system kicking about in a mates garden. It needs the flange welding back on. Is this of help?

    The shell is not strong enough on its own, you will have to weld in a heap of structure. Good luck with that, I was considering the same. B

    Cheers for that. I bought a head set for a tenner off the bay, it comes with a cam cover gasget as well as all the other bits, like valve stem oil seals, and other tasty bits. i'd go down that route first. B

    Ah, 10x 1.5mm. if the thread on the manifold is shot then you will need to helicoil it. fit any then that matches. Thread depth is about 15mm. B
