  1. A good kit from Accuspark, I’ve had it fitted on mine almost 18 months with no issues & so simple to fit, I do however carry a spare pick up & magnet in the boot.
  2. Hands up to Lewis for suggesting that Toto drop the potential appeal & court case, he wouldn’t want to win on the back of a court case decision. Race directors made a bad decision, even worse is the fact they then try and support the decision with other additional rules in their vast directory of rules. The FIA need to seriously look into these rules, laws and guidelines, had to laugh when I read they were considering penalising Lewis for not showing up at the gala in Paris.....Joking right??? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
  3. It did indeed make it more exciting and I suppose Lewis also had the option of pitting for fresh tyres, although he would have lost track position....but that’s racing? The decision of the race director was controversial to say the least and little surprise that he hid himself away after the race? No matter how they cut this, I think Lewis was robbed of a comfortable win but the racing Gods did indeed come to Red Bulls rescue and well done to Max even though it may be a bitter win 👏🥇🏆🏆🏆
  4. That looks stunning, some of those HT leads look a bit tight though (especially No.2 & 6) 🤷‍♂️🤔
  5. Brrrrrrr.....l🤧❄️❄️☃️☃️

    Beautiful that.....👍
  7. Apologies, hadn’t realised....removed The issue for me was the iPad which the technical guys are looking into, the drop down menu options can only be seen in portrait not landscape for some reason? At least I know for next time 👍
  8. Seems to be a technical glitch....with an iPad in landscape you don’t get to see the 3 bar drop down menu people have mentioned but you do in portrait 🤷‍♂️ IT tech guys need to look into this as personally I hardly use the iPad in portrait 😡b
  9. How do you even apply for this on an iPad? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
  10. That filled up far too quickly, didn’t even get a look in 😢 Cant even see where using an iPad you get the entry forms?
  11. Hi Nick, I can see why you would have considered it having a blown engine in any case but still a big decision, especially to take it on yourself 💪👏👏 The cost in my opinion is still astronomical and electric cars is not the answer going forward, costs may decrease given time but probably will be for used parts with little history or longevity? I was just shocked at the conversion price quote and why would you given the EV cars available at much less new.
  12. Exactly my thoughts, I expected a conversion cost of around £20/25k but certainly not up to £70k that’s just ridiculous 🤷‍♂️🤪🤪 I’d agree that they’re pricing people out of the idea due to a 2 year waiting list and enough work on to keep them going, there are a few out there that would do it much cheaper at a guess?
  13. Out of curiosity more than anything, I thought I would see how much it would be to convert a Mk3 GT6 to electric? At the price quoted, how could you possibly justify this conversion or even recoup any of the costs if the car was to be sold. Anyone else had better quotes or even carried out an EV conversion?
  14. I imported my GT6 from Sweden and going by the information I have, the previous owner was a member of the Club Triumph Sweden. On checking their site, they don’t seem to cater for English speaking members (or I can’t see an option for an English version?) I am trying to find further information/photographs of my GT6 while it was in Sweden between around 1984 and 2019. As far as I know, the photograph attached was from their club magazine? Anyone on here with a good contact with our Swedish cousins?
  15. Not a too shabby Mk3.....🤷‍♂️
  16. Part worn are the next thing they need to outlaw, a friend of mine always buys them but there’s no convincing some 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️😆😆
  17. They were called Deflex allegedly but were taken over around 2010/12 and changed the name to Floflex, In the early days they were still selling poly bushings under the original name (old stock) and did have poor reviews, I’ll see how these last but hopeful that things have improved? Time will tell.......
  18. Over the last 5 years I’ve bought Floflex for both my Alfa’s and now the GT......No issue 🤷‍♂️ Hopefully things have changed, did you question it with Floflex by any chance?
  19. Hi Roger, I’ve fitted Floflex bushes to previous cars and never had any issues, I don’t think the colour has anything to do with the quality as they can be any colour the manufacturer chooses. I can only assume you may have bought ‘orange’ ones in the past that were not up to the task? Floflex are a UK manufacturer based in Wrexham (I think) and as many other suppliers they do sell on eBay but you can deal directly if you so choose. Many different suppliers will choose a particular colour, such as red, blue or black to identify their product, Floflex choose orange but that does not in itself point to a poor product.
  20. Here is the info on the KYB type, normally re-labelled to GSA280HD by suppliers but you can source direct from a KYB supplier under their own code 344068 🤷‍♂️
  21. Hi Jacob, I have posted a long investigation into shock absorbers in the technical section and as Rob indicated, if you have a rotoflex GT6 then sadly the original standard inner arch mounted shocks are extremely difficult to source. I have opted for the Gaz option but still arch mounted as per the original, available from several Triumph suppliers but do shop around. You ‘can’ obtain KYB standard alternatives but again you will need to try and source them from a supplier, cost is approx £80+ a pair compared to the Gaz @ over £150 Check out my post in the technical section 👍
  22. I’ve just fitted Floflex poly bushes to the front of mine and I must say the difference was noticeable straight away. The original rubber bushes removed were in pretty good shape but I doubt I could have said the same if they were the newer rubber bushes available these days? Personally, doing the job now you are better off with poly bushes, it will save on costs longer term - PS. Opt for the stainless steel crush tubes if given the option 👍
  23. The spring claw that pops out the end is ideal when the magnet isn’t strong enough, I’ve rescued nuts, bolts and even bulbs that have disappeared into the voids of an engine bay 👍
