Looks to have the original 'bobble' carpet too maybe?? Interior does look good, but could be fragile and fall apart as soon as it's touched...

I removed the bushes from the arms I'm stripping on Saturday - a large flat punch seemed to do the job. I found that a large flat one didn't break the rubber, so the force of the hammer blows just pushed the bush into the bore on the arm. Four well placed blows and they were popping straight out. The annoying thing was I made a puller tool to remove them using some 2" diameter tube I had lying about and the thick washers that hold the diff bushes in. It started pulling the bush out, and then the 7/16" diameter bolt snapped!! So That didn't do a fat lot in the end...

Sadly we won't be having the SD1 join us - the owner has been made an offer he can't refuse (I gather it involves swapping the SD1 for a TVR...), so is likely to be sold, or in the process of selling. it's a shame as it was a cool car. Dropped in the weeds, bubble bolt on arches, and very fruity sounding exhaust from the 2600 engine. No sign of the entry from the Mk2 escort, so I think the Bowler will be joining us in Class A (in keeping with the regulations). So, I think we'll be sticking at 15 entries - not too bad. T-Shirt order will be placed on Monday lunch time, so any late entries can be caught hopefully. Thanks again everyone for your support. I hope it's a good event!

After fighting with sediment and rust in both my 2000 and Vitesse I have two - one by the boot, and then one between the pump and carbs to help clear out any bits that may have been 'missed' by the old filter. Some still gets through though, so it's work checking dash-pots now and then if you have SUs!
