  1. Hi Casper, thanks, does the base only move forward or does it fold? There are two very rusty mountings below the seat base at the rear. Martin
  2. Hi, somehow there is now a Herald Estate in the garage  ;) . Restoration has to wait, however I wanted to remove seats and (scruffy) carpets. I´m not able to fold the rear seats. What is my fault. Cheers Martin
  3. Hi Nick, my original Manual says: Bore in Block:  46,82 - 46,858 mm Cam Journal: 46,741 - 46,745 mm Clearance: 0,066 - 0,117 mm For the inserting Spitfire MK3 bearings we bored exactly 50,00 mm. Sad to hear the story from the block / line boring. Cheers Martin

Into the wheel Weller and Mattig is pressed. Quality is very good. Martin

    engine mounts

    Hi, agree to Nick, the currently sold rubber mountings are questionable quality. Moss sells UKC8330 uprated ones. Happy with them for 2 years now. Martin
