Ive got a column switch on my mk2 Spit and to change from o/drive 3rd to 'normal' 4th quickly is not easy! And similarly going back down is the same. Is this why later models had the switch actually in the gear knob? Fitting one of these is on the todo list this winter.
Got the new cam in the car to give my 1147cc's a little more umph, engine runs but the car won't move 'cos the clutch is leaking hydraulic stuff everywhere!!! Still got to have something to do this weekend!!
Hi Sheepy, been following your thread with some interest 'cos I have a mk2 in similar condition. the only serious work it's needed in the 8-9 yrs of my ownership is new floors. However, the panel that runs over the diff between the rear inner wings is not good (in fact it's shit really!!) have you had to do anything with yours as I understand you can't get them now? Cheers
Cheers chaps, will be having a go with Tims suggestion then if that fails simply plot the check points manually........or simply follow the glowing CT sticker in front!!!!!!!!!! Nige and Andy
Problem, we have Tom Tom 1 version 3 and it has no Itinary planning facility, does anyone else have this problem? We've looked on Tom Tom forums and this seems to be a common compliant. Any ideas chaps?? Cheers, Nige and Andy in #45
