CHOP 'EM ;) - if you're looking for uprated then obviously not the way to go BUT if standard ride is OK then take out a coil or two (I am on one project on the go). There's a full tech explanation on retro-rides and a fully qualified auto engineer has explained the do's n don'ts regarding heat effects etc....I've got the 'lowered uprated' rear springs fitted to the Mk2 and have to say it sits at the same damn height (if not a margin higher!) than the old sagged springs :-/Good luck either way........
sahtuning2000 Posted July 23, 2008 Author Posted July 23, 2008 Its a bit saggy at the rear,but does look lowered without doubt,with the tools etc in the boot it sits quite nice,got the lowered/uprated frots lined up for Friday,and Maybe a pair of NOR CW rears if my mate lends them to me...
