I’ve had a lot of interest in my post for this . For information it’s a Public Car Park so charges apply but it’s well sited providing easy access to the Castle the Cathedral (although it is Sunday Morning) there are several pubs restaurants and Cafes as well as shops and souvenir shops . If you wish to visit any particular venue please check the relevant website for opening times . Roman City walls enclose the Castle and Cathedral which is one of the finest in England . Meeting up in the Public Car Park in Union Road gives easy access to the Cities attractions and The Stokes Lawn Cafe which is in the car park and is the site of England’s very first Mental Asylum ( very appropriate lol) The food is excellent!
