nibby Posted August 24, 2008 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Hi everyoneI had an oil leak at the gearbox to engine area and thought it must be the rear crank oil seal so changed it when my gearbox expired but I still have the same leak as before,everytime I stop a small pool of oil appears.Ive checked the rocker covers,oil transfer housing/switch and tightened the sump up to no avail.Any ideas anyone.ThanksMark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

nibby Posted August 28, 2008 Author Share Posted August 28, 2008 HI Wakaday,I have a manual gearbox.The oil seal did not look worn when removed and when the new one went in it looked like a tight fit all the way round.I have heard about a sleeve that takes up any gaps but pointless pulling the gearbox out again until im definite about problem.Thanks.Mark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
