Velocita Rosso Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Has anyone got any easy way or suggestions on how re fit a front strut/spring n a 2000 Spent all day trying to line up the four mounting bolts to the vertical link and no way will they line up. Thought about using spring compressors to allow relief on the damper.....but thats tomorrows attempt Quote
Radders Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Put the strut top through the hole at the top of the inner wing and just finger tight a couple of nuts onto the strut top just to support it. This will allow you to move it about at the bottom without if falling out all the time. The flat bit with the four holes at the bottom of the leg should be angled out rather than in if you know what I mean. It should go without too much trouble. Oh yeah, and disconnect the track rod end, otherwise it will never line up. 🙂 S. Quote
