GT6 Tyres

Hi All

Im looking to replace the tyres on my 1971 GT6 at the moment it has very old Dunlop SP10s. Any advise as to the best tyres to fit it is mainly driven in the dry and I would like to stick with the original 155/80/13 tyres.

If you afford them, have a look at Longstone Tyres website...be aware, their tyres are very dear, but I have heard good things.

Don't buy cheap though, they are your contact point with the road.

Me, I like Uniroyal Rainsports...very good, not sure if available in narrow widths though.

I was thinking Uniroyal rain expert 3 they are available at a good price but I wanted a more tradition tread pattern in keeping with the car.

Try a set of Falkens. Excellent wet grip, good in the dry. Reasonably priced too, and a normal tread pattern.

I agree with Tim, I am running Pirelli Cinturatos from Longstone in  175/70 R13, expensive but period correct and performant.
