have uploaded pics of brothers car .he died suddenly partway through restoration. wondering if theres anybody near Hornchurch ? or can otherwise give an idea of valuation to sell it on as part restored ? full details pics plus inspection invited for serious  buyers.  aware couple of thousand already spent acquiring car and  replacing things eg full front suspension .dampers. springs brakes ( discs)  etc already replaced . engine stripped ready for rebuild .bores re-honed etc and many  new parts such as lamps already with car but not fitted as car was being stripped for a full repaint /rework.

hardtop is still with car but not fitted. basic red paint coat applied ..car was due to be returned to original Red colour. ( no idea why it was sprayed yellow)  about to go sort out car .parts see if we can locate everything and take few more pics . found out bonnet 'lemans' style is steel and NOT fibreglass as Ashleys were ? so few questions to sort out but bonnet (removed for refurb of car) is in very good condition requiring only sanding. painting.  so basic car is sound with no rust visible but I have not  yet checked boot and floor pan etc  as waiting next opportunity to visit garage and start sorting things out ready for sale. though obviously a rare care . sounders via couple of classic car  sites seem to show low interest in project car. but have managed to get information to show car (insurance etc) is worth at least £3k plus new parts thrown in . so would expect £4 as a decent sell point for his widow. anybody with more information please feel free to message.
