Dannyb
My red top type (Chinese knock off) fuel pump has lasted only 2 years. Still working but after an hour or so the banging noise in the engine bay is unbelievable. I bought this to replace a Huco which I couldn't stop leaking. I've now fitted a Hardi from Germany which looks well made. Has anyone he'd any experience with this pump. Danny
Marinaman
Hi, I am using a Hardi 14412 for my 1500 engine. The first one lasted 10 years. Then, the membrane got stiff. The electronics and valves were still fine. Just bought a new 14412 to replace it. Kept the old one for spares. Never know. I use it with a Lucas C41220 Inertia Switch.

Also have a 3 way switch on the dash to switch the pump off and also swich over to backup pump near tank. Danny
