john4071 Posted October 6, 2006 Share Posted October 6, 2006 Well, think we must be one of the first teams out, didn't even make it to the start line! As we joined the M23 the prop decided to let go, taking the exhaust and handbrake cable with it! Little frustrating as had spent the whole day in the rain fitting new alternator, wheel bearing and trying to stop problems before they became problems, you can't win them all!The RAC took 3 hours to recover us, not very happy with that, no help on the phone at all and was told it would take 30mins by the first guy, three other calls made and they all quoted different times, rubbish.Good Luck to all, hope to be a part of it next timeJohn Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
