Where is my Spitfire Mk4 Ocre Yellow LYY 248K?

I’ve been looking off and on for my Spitfire MK4 in Ocre Yellow Reg LYY 248K for over 20 years

I sold her in around 1984

It was last register changed in January 1988 and taxed in July 1988. To my knowledge is hasn’t been scrapped or put on SORN

I am about to invest in a MK4/1500 but before I do I’d love to know if my dream car is still around and if so if the owner Is willing to part with her.

Untaxed since 1988 and no MOT .....looks like its either in a barn covered over or scrapped.

I would say after nearly 40 years .....its scrapped  A 40 year restoration project seems unlikely
