TR6 steering rack - same as GT6?

Are they the same size?
I'm involved with a TR6 restoration that has had a GT6 rack fitted as it is supposed to be a little quicker lock-to-lock, but it looks a little tight on the steering arm threads to get the tracking aligned properly.

Any experience out there?

Guy - thanks, that's excellent - and exactly what I needed.

Seems the GT6 rack is 10mm longer than a TR6. That would explain some of the dodgy camber!
