This year on Drive it day the Shropshire Triumph groups are joining up with the Shropshire TR register for a drive over to Lake Vyrnwy where we will meet up with the North wales Triumph groups. here are some details . Regards Roy .

I was Marshalling at Gledrid this year, my Brother Alan pulled in (GT6 mk2). I went over to say hello , we lifted the bonnet to check fluids and noticed water pump leaking! luckily we had a spare pump in his spare’s kit onboard. 20mins and new pump fitted 👍. IMG_3908.heic

Morning! prep on schedule, GT6- I’ll change oil/filter ,plugs, grease grease points & repack wheel bearings . Dolomite- the same as GT6,also if I find the time I’d like to get it in the air at an exhaust place and see if they can get the system a bit ‘higher up’. The 1500 system always looks like it needs lifting when viewed, not a great design! Lichtenstein ?! Oh yes, blink and you’ll miss it 😆

I’m running HS6 sprint carbs on my 2.5 mk1. I’ve elongated the holes on carb bodies to fit the standard Manifold. Also opened up the manifold ports to match the carb bodies 1 3/4 openings . I’ve fitted a simple bracket to use a cable for the throttle, the cable is a ptfe lined mountain bike cable from Halfrauds . here’s a pic if it’s of interest to you . Roy 😊

Hey Bruce, In my Mk1 I’m running a 2.5 with j-type 28% & 3:63 diff. I find it a Great combination 👍 regards Roy ( Shropshire border control🤓)
