Ooooh ..can of worms and tin opener comes to mind. Personally I feel that we now have an excellent web site and forum ,whereby criticism of the original sites is not necessary as we were all in the throws of learning how computers and systems worked. We are are now supported by an even more excellent support team who do know what they are doing. However we are now going through the Vulcan/Peregrine space shot scenario of `we can do better than NASA` and at the first attempt ,it all going wrong, as everyone throws their two penneth in stating they have better ideas (re CT...not the space shot!) . The current system is now just what we want ....so why don`t we all support it. Yes we all have mobile phones and like tinkering......but we all know what happens when we tinker....especially with cars

You have got touchy when there is no need. You have hilighted what a few of us have been talking about just recently. If you hadnt hilighted the FB on here no one would have known. If all club related topics are on here then all shoud know . Too much being diseminated on FB

But thats the trouble....the people, area organisers, using FB are the ones responsible for updating the CT site

My comment has a hint of sarcasm, as there seems to be more interest in Facebook , and people going off at a tangent ,not thinking about using the CT site The previous posting was about North Yorks area not having any attendance...and then another member from a different area pointing out a Facebook post about a change in venue etc. Surely the CT site should have been updated

Why is n`t the Forum used , as requested, to circulate important area news? The CT site is giving contradictory information and once again FB being used for the select few . So the CT sie needs updating?.

Surely ,......as Lands End land is privately owned,.....there would be no reason why Cornwall Council could not erect a sign on Council land near the end of the A30, saying " Lands End ,500 mtrs " or words to that effect ....and erecting ,along side, the signage (minus 500 mtrs) to other UK and New York destinations. As a council....should not have any objections on planning regs. Organisations could still park up /walk to the sign for any photos needed...if any. If I owned the hostel/camping area nearby , I certainly would`nt mind a bit of extra revenue

I believe Nuala had a partner, in life and business running their hotel in The Lake District near Keswick, however I`m pretty sure the business was sold, so now unsure where her partner would be (who could be the legal partner to contact). A far as I am aware it is only a beneficiary of a deceased person that can petition any organisation to make requests for deletion.

As you may know I have brought this up with the relevant Club members, saying that I was concerned that `people` joining the CT,FB pages and being welcomed, do consider themselves to be a full CT member. Any major postings relating CT should be on the Forum, especially discussions.There is no reason why local groups shouldn`t have a FB page to contact local area members though

Yep correct , I bought some of the `P `shaped rubber seal from a stand at Stoneleigh, stuck it on with black rubber adhesive, So in effect the window glass runs in between both the seals

I obtained one ,and finished up throwing it away. I then bought some aerosol expanding foam ,stripped the old vinyl from the dash top,sprayed the offending gaps and cracks etc and then ,after sanding down, stuck new vinyl on the dash top. Worked a treat

Its supposed to fit over the top of a worn old top .....but personally ,they are not very good
