  1. Parcel shelf back in Tip. Because you have difficulty in aligning the two hole in the mill board with the two clips attached to the scuttle interior ( as its black and dark under there) stick two small white s/a labels on the two clips then a red marker dot on the label, you can then see through the millboard where the red dot is, then screw the self tapper through the millboard.
  2. Yey, removal of parcel shelf , changing to reading specs, ripping holes in upper hand and much back ache....managed to slot the tube back on to the nozzle. Now replace parcel shelf .....tomorrow!!

The most awkward /painful thing to attach/reattach on a Spitfire MK3?......the driver side windscreen washer tube to spray nozzle in the scuttle.....and the two bolts/screws fixing the GRP tunnel cover to the scuttle ,just above the bell housing. Bent spine scraped knuckles and neck ache. Today`s task....to get all three , as the washer hose is dangling loose
  7. Not half as pain-full as when the standard vertical link snaps and digs into tarmac. Twice was sufficient occasions to convince me to change to trunnion less
  8. Nah...! have faith in trunnionless front end....but have you never noticed ,there are no signs saying `bends ahead`🤣
  9. Somebody flicked a light switch when I turned 70 , up to then, fit as a lop, active etc. Now after a few years, tired lethargic and not interested in most things energetic. Not as though I`m trying to depress you🤣......PS Stelvio a lot easier going down hill!

  19. `Ratchet`only on heater. The light switch has a spring loaded button to hold it in place but the hex shaft and hole sometimes seize on. Just needs a 40 drops from the War Department.....(or in some cases a farriers hammer)
