Hi Bruce it was from Accuspark had the complete kit, dizzy, non ballast sports coil, Iridium plugs and new set of leads. go direct to them - not through eBay, find them on google can recommend totally 👍

Mabel’s new electronic ignition fitted today, not without challenges, Darren took out the first spark plug and it fell and wedged behind the starter Motor, I was able to fish it out with a screwdriver, then the new coil was fitted. No problem there, the distributor clamp had to be fettled as it became distorted after the old distributor locked, so Darren had to bend it back into shape, everything then went smoothly. Darren set the timing and she started and ran well what a relief - hopefully the end of the ignition trouble

How’s he going to get at the bodywork on a car that small ?? He certainly would be a miracle worker

So after Mabel’s first real run a few weeks ago, she’s been running like a pig, cutting out and generally uneven running, Darren and I decided she actually would benefit from a nice new electronic distributor, but for now, new points and condenser together with a new dizzy cap would help. Off came the cap, in with new points and condenser, new cap and oo and behold a nice even sounding engine, then clunk. She stopped, distributor turned through 90 degrees and smashed the ceramic on plug 3!! Out came the distributor and took of the top plate, a washer had fallen from somewhere. Still a mystery, and jammed the drive shaft. Removed it and distributor turned freely again not called 2 times Mabel for nothing 🙄
