I'm in NZ and looking at building up a 'fast-road' (100bhp) engine for my Mk2 Spitfire and have an unmolested 57000 mile 1300 Toledo DG engine as a base.

I'm unsure if the head has the larger inlets similar to the Spitifire IV - TR6 valves.  If so I expect I'll modify a 13/60 block (bearing the cam) and use the larger valve head.

I'd appreciate any advice on this as well as a fast-road 'recipie'?
