FloydP Posted April 24, 2012 Share Posted April 24, 2012 Hi all,I've got a problem with my ignition switch or to be more precise the barrel part that turns it.It doesn't seem to turn far enough to make the starter circuit, with the switch removed from the barrel and using a screw driver to turn it the car starts fine, but once it's put back on the barrel it activates the ignition fine but won't start the car.Anyone come across this or got any ideas,Thanks,Floyd. flap Posted April 24, 2012 Share Posted April 24, 2012 Had this problem on a 2000 the plastic center in the switch itself was worn so when the key was turned the switch was'nt turning far enough you might want to check this.
