oil cooler location

jack,

fit it any where which has some airflow ,but do not fit it in front of the radiator they are marginal at cooling at best,you could fit it next to the rad in a vertical position which seems to be the norm,but there is no reason that you can't fit it in the engine bay as long as you duct some air to it with say some alluminium ducting,they don't need a great force of air and really only are needed if oil gets above 100'c. :)
