I need to get my 1967 Herald 1200 back up & running ASAP so that I can get it down to the bodyshop so that its ready in time for our wedding in June! The carb is the problem!!Has anyone got a Solex carb thats known to be in working order for sale? I have tried rebuilding the existing carb but to no avail & the spare one I bought off ebay works but leaks badly and runs a bit rough & cant be sorted as the casting threads are badly stripped meaning it cant be tightened down.Alternatively has anyone got one of those rare adaptors that lets you convert the car to a single Stromberg or SU?Help.....I really dont want to have to use my wife-to-be's MGF as our wedding car.......as nice as it is!!Cheers!! :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
