inca Posted May 14, 2013 Share Posted May 14, 2013 Hello,I have bought a nearly finished restoration project- spit 1500.Anyhoo, the previous owner had the dash re-veneered but not fitted, all dials out etc. I have fitted it all back in and found there is no hole cut out in the dash for the choke? I found the bits (cable, bolts etc ) in a box and the cable has been cut, not just un connected.Might be a stupid question, but,Is there any reason for not planning to put it back on the car? Can't find anything about it in the manual.She will start with persuasion without the choke (just hover foot on throttle very gently).
