Steve AKA vitessesteve
I was recently talking to a chap who is based in Johannesburg South Africa. TSSC of South Africa are planning an event to mark the centenary of the first Triumph car. I have not read of any celebration being planned for next year. I wonder if Club Triumph are working on anything?
Clive
There are plans afoot, it will certainly feature in next years CT National Weekend. Plus we are waiting to hear from the STF about how the wider Triumph community gets together. There should be news on that in the next few weeks.
Gt6s
I had the privilige of acompanying the only existing 1923 Triumph 10/20 to the 75th at Gaydon. Unfortunatly the owner Jimmy Kinghan passed away some years back and I lost contact with the car.
Stagger
Team, Picking up on a couple of items in this string. The oldest Triumph is in the midlands and the current owner turned out on Captain Sir John Blacks Birthday to Gaydon on 10th Feb this year. I'm hoping to pursued him back in 2023 as you will see elsewhere inn the events section I have been cajoled into setting up a similar event and photo opportunity this year with the last Dolomite Sprint off the line (50th anniversary) and a beautiful Pre war Standard streamline to help celebrate 100 years of Triumph.
