mblowing
Just wondering has anyone had any problems with Revotec fan controllers im on number 3 ??
Clive
There was one on teh mk3 spit when we got it, but I didn't like the look of it! So I fitted a hose adaptor and an OEM type switch to the bottom rad hose. But, are you using a relay? I wonder of the switch is not eant to take the full fan current, especially on startup (typically double the running current)
Tim Bancroft
Mike, Google 'Auxillary Fan wiring diagram', you will find lots of very simple circuits that are very simple to install. I have electric fans on all my cars and use a fan switch screwed into a boss on the bottom tank of the radiators. Simple toggle switch operates the over-ride.
Matt George
Mike, Only just seen this, but I've had a Revotec fan and Revotec controller fitted since 2015 with no issues. The fan is wired in with its own separate fuse, but no relay for the switch IIRC. It blew the original 15amp fuse early on, but has been fine with a 20amp fuse ever since.
