Neilriser
Hi to all ,just had a quick clean an look at my gear box and noticed two things i would like help with please, the box has a small plate attached to the mounting bracket with a stablising bar and two rubber grommets attached,a quick search seems to suggest these attachments were on early heralds? i take it these are no longer required as the rubbers are no longer available? my box has the number GB212232 what information does that tell me ie age/type etc etc
Wendy Dawes
Maybe a photo might shed light on it
Clive
GB is herald 1200 I think. But all of the herald gearboxes (except the all alloy ones) are the same internally. So nothing to be learnt. The stabaliser thing, I think you can safely remove that. Was is a exhaust steady? I can't remember now.
