Greeks
I'm leaking from all of my seals!!! And I'm whining too...I haven't replaced these seals before. Can anyone tell me how tricky is it to replace seals, and can I do it with the diff. in situ ?Or, should I just get it re-shimmed and re-sealed by a professional? Deleted User
Have you checked the breather? Usually when it leaks from all the seals its because the diff is pressurising because the breather is blocked.

Deleted User
Then if its doing that and its whining, then its fubar. You can shim whiny diffs all you like, but the gearset is shot and you would be throwing good money after bad. Bin it Greeksy and look out more a better s/h one, it will be cheaper than getting someone to look at yours.
Greeks
Cheers, Dave.I;ve got that option too ... and can save a few $ , but then I've got no guarantee it won't whine just as badly ::)Others have said that they can whine forever and a day without giving up ??)(i have the support brackets on the nose already)
Deleted User
Yep saloon diffs do seem to hang on even after whining for what seems like years. Whereas the smaller Triumph's diffs seem to rapidly deteriorate after the dreaded woman in the back syndrome starts. Keep oil in it and it should be OK for some time, meanwhile hang on buying another until you can get to drive a donor and listen to see if the diff plays tunes.
