Spitfire CNO382B

Hi all,

I am searching for a Triumph Spitfire which was bought for my dad as a 21st birthday present.

The reg number is CNO382B, and was built in 1964. To be honest I didn’t think I stood a chance of finding it but my hopes have been raised as I now know the car was used in an ITV program called “The Chief” in 1991 series 2 episode 2. 

If there is anyone who had any info it would be greatly received, ultimately I would love to arrange a surprise meet for my dad to see his pride and joy again. He is the most selfless person and would never ask for anything, I would love to arrange this for him as a small thank you for everything he has done for me.

According to DVLA it hasn't been taxed since November 1994 so I doubt it still exists.

Thanks Pete, I had had a look at an vehicle smart app that showed it not taxed or MOTed since 1994 but wasn’t sure when it would have become tax and MOT exempt or if that would show on the app. Thanks for taking the time to reply :-)
