caterham888
Hi, Doing some research for a pal who is looking for a TR5 that his family owned way back when. Registration WWV 773G, his intentions are totally honourable, Any ideas or advice on tracking it down gratefully received.
Nick Jones
That registration is unknown to both the MoT and tax status websites. This is a non-promising sign and suggests that the car is either long dead or possibly exported. Nick
caterham888
Hi Nick, sorry my pal gave me the wrong reg.......or I wrote it down wrong. the 5,s reg is WWU 773G and not WWV 773G thanks clive
Nick Jones
Ok, that works better. It's red, taxed until May and the MoT expires on 19th April. This only tells you that it is alive, kicking and still in the UK though. This is good and shows the hunt is worth pursuing, but no more. You could try asking on the Triumph Register Forum and perhaps on the Sideways Technologies forum, which has quite a large TR Register contingent at present. You won't get any help from the DVLA.
