  1. Bills wirte, Its a GE Herald engine, The large crank 13/60's where coded GK. Bill: 1 - Mark: 0 ;D ;D ;D
  2. Hiya Buddy, I'm currently putting a 13/60 engine into my little Tolly, I've swapped over most of the parts from the Toledos engine. I've matched all the best parts from both engines and put them on the Herald lump reading to be fitted into the car sometime today or tomorrow. Just out interest, Some people have told me to stick with the Stromberg carb and its Intake manifold. But then other people say stick with the Toledos SU and Its Intake. Which is best? Jordan :)

  4. Hi, Will a Herald 13/60 engine fit straight into a Toledo with a three-rail gearbox? The herald has a Small crank and the Toledo a Large. Regards Jordan
  5. Hi Ron, No they wont fit, The small chassis triumph's all have a 3.75" PCD (PCD is the spacing between the wheels nuts), the Minor (and other BMC cars such as MG Midgets and A40 farina's) all have a 4" PCD. hope this helps  :) Jordan

It's like you dont have any connection to road at all, after driving an old car. ha
  7. Remind's me of when me and my dad restored my Vitesse last year  :), i  was 18 then and it was a brilliant experience, learning exactley how your car was built and put together!  ;) Wedgwood Blue really suits 13/60's i think, Good Luck with the restoration Mate!!!! ::) Jordan

  9. Loving the Restoration Saga so far John!  :) Your cars gonna be a stunner when it done, and you've picked the best colour i think for a GT6, French blue!  ;) Oohhh a Sunbeam Tiger, Truly lovely! is it a Mk1 with the 4.3 V8 or the Super Rare Mk2 with the 4.8??  ::) Jordan

  11. are there anymore signs or differences betwween a HC and LC engine which tell me whether my engine is HC or LC?
  12. Wow Very interesting! So just to clarify, The 'E' on the end of my engine stands for Exchange or Engine? My engine number is: HC9060E   Thats all, i thought it stood for economy so a low compression engine. I thought this because i have a really old haynes manual, and it has the specifications for the Vitesse a GT6 Economy and standard engines. Is any light at the end of the tunnel?
