Sorry for the late reply busy weekend. Had the Herald for 3 yrs now and others in the past. Will give Southam Bodies a shout and see how much. Prefer a quicker turn around if possible. Thanks for the info- 14 replies

Restoration garage recommendations for Coventry and Warwickshire area. My Herald is mechanically sound and runs fine, but is getting a bit tatty and is the wrong colour. My garage is also in need of restoration!! I was thinking of selling, but have decided to try and find a garage that could take on the work needed and also free up my garage so I can repair or replace. As far as I can see it needs the passenger door repairing (new skin), repairs to bonnet and rear valance needs replacing, and a good looking over of chassis as last MOT (passed with no advisories) tester said getting a bit rusty. Also needs complete respray and new hood. Any recommendations would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks in advance Andy

Quick question. I own 1971 13/60 with a 150cd carb fitted, simple so far. Have been advised by garage that it is worn and if I could source a new/recon one it would be a good investment. This came about when it was serviced and MOT'd. They said adjusting the mixture was very hard and this was due to wear. (is this a possibility?) So have been looking for a new /recon carb and Christ how many slightly different cd150's are there??? Anyway will this one fit http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221342149055 Thanks in advance

Yep just checked powerspark. Plug and play and forget. And if you carry a spare points and condenser, if anything goes wrong easily back to original. Best upgrade for cost so far

Hi wim, I've had one of these fitted to a 13/60 for eighteen months with no problems. Mine was off eBay for about £25/30. Think power spark???

Reference pub gas DO not use it contains nitrogen and this weakens the weld considerably.
