Will It Ever Run Again Posted April 21, 2016 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Hiya all.I have bought a Revotec electric fan for my Spitfire 1500. A few questions:I was under the impression that one of the benefits of fitting an electric fan was to reduce some of the stresses on the engine brought about by the standard fan set up. So I therefore assume that the old fan set up is removed? If so which bits?? Obviously the belt still needs to link the engine and the alternator and the water pump. Is it just the fan itself we remove?Also would you recommend a push air through from the front or a pull air through from behind set-up?Many thanks!!Steve Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
