MarkB Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Hi allTrying to get the Vitesse back on the road after 7 years. Fitted TLD sliding splines with a flatter rear spring. I think the standard spring is 165mm in height unloaded, measured from the centre of the lowest leaf to the floor and this is 120mm. I have the Jigsaw Rear Rotoflex Damper Conversion Kit and was hoping to use some adjustable Spax I had put to one side. Closed length is about 9.75 eye to eye and looks to be to long to fit between the rear vertical link and top bracket even at the close length. Any one had any experience of this conversion and the length of shock they used? Thanks Mark Quote
MarkB Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Yes that is the set up, but I have done away with the Rotoflex and instead am using Kingston Sports Cars sliding splines. Quote
qed296 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I see,iam looking to loose the rota's too. Whats the cost of driveshaft con?? Quote
MarkB Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 I am not sure what the cost of them is from Kingston Sports cars i got them unused from an unfinished project, and I going back a few years. Quote
Deleted User Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 My car has the Canleys CV shaft conversion, complete with AVO adjustable telescopic shocks and a 1" lowering block (albeit with standard Mk2 Vitesse spring). The setup works really well. Quote
