Lister
Ok try this again .i was wondering if when using the mgf 6 spoke wheels, you have to make any changes to the inner or outer wheels arches?dont worry that they look a little tatty.they are going to be repaired and then blasted and painted.Al 8)
Deleted User
What size are the wheels ? 15" or 16", and how wide, and what tyres do you want to use ?Vin the Blingman has 16"x7 MGF wheels, with 215/40 tyres on his Spitfire without any problems - but the car is not quite "standard" - GT6 Rotoflex chassis, Spitfire 4 bodytub, rear spring from ? and very stiff front springs. Deleted User
Should be OK without modifications - but put some tyres on them and do a trial fit to be certain.
mikeyb
Got MGF VVC 15 inchers on my 7-V8, 205/50 tyres if I recall. Plently of wheelarch clearance even though the car is lowered!
mikehardwick
Al - got those wheels on my DHC, fitted with 205/50x15 tyres. No clearance probs round the wheel arches, though I found the centre bore fit tight, 6mm spacers from S+S sorted that.Mike
