Gavin Posted September 12, 2012 Share Posted September 12, 2012 My horn has stopped working - investigation is showing that whilst the steering surround has an earth the shaft itself doesn't. The ring is live and shorting between the ring and the surround makes the horn work but not between the ring and the steering shaft.Any ideas ... Clive Posted September 12, 2012 Share Posted September 12, 2012 The steering joint just above the rack should have a bit of wire to connect the shaft to the rack. Connects to the pinch bolts at teh top and bottom of the joint. (from memory. Think the rack itself has an earth wire too) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
