oldbob Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 I have just fitted an alternator and everything seems to be working ok. but when the instrument lights are on the ignition light glows faintly. heraldcoupe Posted January 14, 2006 Share Posted January 14, 2006 Yes, I drove home in the dark with a newly purchased 948 many years ago. Paranoia set in that the dynamo was on it's way out and wouldn't get me home. On checking the folowing day I found that it was the dashboard lights leaking through the red lens.
